AT YOUR SERVICE

Vocabulary in this unit has to do with food and restaurants. Here are most of the words we learned on pag. 161 in your Student's Book. Have fun!

As an English teacher, I have often heard comments and questions such us: "British food is really bad","The British don't have a good reputation for food"... or "Do they even have a traditional meal?"

Although it is true that British food has never been seen as a delicacy in comparison to our European neighbours, some of it is actually pretty good. British people do know how to make at least a few great meals.

My purpose in this unit is to show my students that British food is not really that bad. Let´s start with a list of the most popular food in the UK and learn how to cook some of the most famous dishes
